Date: April 20, 2024
Entries: All schools must enter their rosters and all entries using the online registration at www.baumspage.com. The deadline for registration is Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 7:00PM.
Changes: If you have any changes/additions/scratches after noon on Thursday, email them to Tim Murray tmurr2005@gmail.com or call 419-307-2384.
8:30AM Coaches Meeting – In the football locker room.
9:00AM Field events will begin. Check the time schedule for specific details. We will give contestants 4 attempts with no finals in the shot put, discus, and long jump. The high jump and pole vault will be 5 alive. All field events will have the top seeded contestants going last.
10:00AM Semi-finals begin for the 100m hurdles, 110m hurdles, 100m dash, and 200m dash. The 4x800m relay finals will be held in between the 100m and 200m dash semis. Check the time schedule for details.
20 min. after Semis: The finals will begin. This time may be adjusted due to weather or if we are ahead of schedule. Listen for announcements on the P.A.
Check In: Will be at the bullpen, located near the flagpole. 200M dash and 300M hurdles will check in at the starting line
Fees: Check to see if your athletic director has paid your entry fee of $200.00. If not, have them make it payable to: Fostoria Athletic Department and send it to Thom Loomis, A.D., Fostoria High School, 1001 Park Avenue, Fostoria, OH 44830.
Admission: Adults - $7.00 Students - $5.00 cash at the gate
Camp Sites: There will not be dressing room facilities available so remind your athletes to come dressed. Athletes will not be allowed to enter the area under the stadium. You are also asked to stay off the football field. No teams will be permitted to set up camp in the area inside the track (football field) and are asked to clean up their area before leaving. The facility has an all-weather surface for running and you are asked to have spikes no longer than ¼”. No chalk or tape is permitted on the track surface. All teams are reminded to bring their own batons for relay races.
Concession: There will be a concession stand available. Restroom facilities are located on the side of the concession stand for ladies and on the west end of the stadium for men.
T-Shirts: We will sell t-shirts at the concession stand
Results: Results will also be posted Saturday evening on www.baumspage.com We will hand printed results if requested.
Awards: Individual awards should be picked up by the head coach at the conclusion of the meet in the east concession stand. We will be awarding a male and female track athlete and field athlete of the meet, which will be awarded to the participants who earned the most points during the meet, in their respective category.
Scoring: We will score 8 places in each event: 10, 8, 6, 5, 4 3, 2, 1
